Media case studies needed – can you help…?
Do you have an interesting story to tell? Do you spend time together in weird and wonderful ways? Is there something that makes your family unique? Or are you just a model picture of family life? If so, National Family Week needs you!
We’re looking for families of all shapes and sizes to tell their story to the nation in various media including newspapers and television. For example, The Independent on Sunday are looking for case studies of ways families like to spend quality time together – maybe you’re crossword crazy, trivia champions, sport-obsessed, foodies, bookworms, etc? If you are and think you’d make an interesting example for fun or unique ways you spend quality time together please get in touch. We want to hear from everyone – huge families, small families, single parent families, families with same-sex parents, families with adopted children, foster families, families where grandparents look after their grandchildren, old families and young families.
So if you would like to appear on TV or in the paper sharing your family’s story, just send us a photo of your family and a couple of paragraphs telling us about your family, where you live and what makes your family special. Make sure you include a contact telephone number so we can find out more. Your family must be happy to talk to the media (possibly live!) and be photographed, and you must all be available between now and 8 June.
And if you do make it through to talk to the national media, we’ll give your family a brand-new, state-of-the-art Flip Video Shoot & Share camcorder! You’ll never miss one of those precious family moments ever again!
Please email your details ASAP to Rob at: rdavinson@nationalfamilyweek.co.uk
Meanwhile, don’t forget to find out how you can get involved in some of the thousands of record-setting, action-packed, fun-filled family events taking place during National Family Week at www.nationalfamilyweek.co.uk
